Everybody has an opinion about the Kindle's physical design. Granted, it's far from anything Apple would produce, but I tend to think Amazon did a fantastic job, particularly when you consider the original Kindle prototype. Yeah, I've had mine for over a month, and using it is second nature. It really does "disappear" while I'm reading, like Bezos claims it does.
It seems to be inspired by Alan Kay's Dynabook (1968).
